Future Force is a robust United Way of Southern Maryland program, designed to equip teens with skills and access to build meaningful community relationships. The full Future Force program creates experiences such that teens may thrive as influencers who have effective, positive impact on their communities.
A Dual Phase Program
1) The Future Force Summit - SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2024
This kick-off event will be a full day of excitement, high energy, and joy! It will begin the journey of self-discovery and personal insight, facilitated by a professional youth trainer in a warm and welcoming environment.
Sophomores & Juniors from Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's County will participate in thought provoking, validating exercises; they will build meaningful relationships with others as they determine how they want to impact their community and the world. The Future Force Summit will include sessions that help crystallize their gifts and talents and will show them how to uncover new layers of purpose. It’s going to be a wonderful day!
2) The Future Force Training Experience
Once a month, participants from the Summit will have the opportunity to opt into this exciting training experience.
A collection of outstanding professionals will be interactive trainers for each session. During this experience, participants will follow a development plan with real-time opportunities to engage local executives and skill-build with people of influence. They will be coached by mentors with the goal to operate at the next level of impact. Becoming a Future Force graduate will help prepare youth for their Next-Level of success.
